As the name would suggest, a shoe stretcher is a mechanical device
placed within a shoe to stretch it. Shoe stretchers are designed
for use in leather and suede shoes; they tend not to work for shoes
which are made out soft fabrics, such as vinyl. There are a number
of reasons why a shoe stretcher is a useful accessory, which are
