Q: Can I pay in US Dollars at UK footwear retailers?

  A: updated (02/02/2012)

That may be an option at some retailers, but, on the whole, UK retailers will not accept payment in US dollars. Due to the ever changing nature of currency exchange rates, UK retailers will generally only list products in GBP. As an overseas customer, your credit card will be charged the amount in pounds sterling, and then your credit card issuer will convert the charge into your local currency. Most banks and credit card issuers will implement an additional charge for any currency exchange. You may want to use an online currency converter before making an order from a UK footwear retailer, to double check what you will be charged in dollars.
