APictures are circulating the Internet which purport to show the new Manchester United's 2016/17 home kit. Manchester United signed a £750 million kit deal with Adidas in 2015, and the 2016/17 home kit will be manufactured by Adidas. The main difference between the 2015/16 and 2016/17 Manchester home kit is where Adidas have placed their iconic 'three stripes': on the 2015/16 home shirt the three stripes are placed on the sleeves, whereas on the 2016/17 home shirt the three stripes are placed on the sides of the shirt. This is a new design template that Adidas has used on a variety of football shirts released in 2016. Pictured below: is the 2016 Mexico International home shirt; the picture shows how the stripes are placed on the side of the shirt:
The leaked pictures of the 2016/17 Manchester United home shirt apparently show that the shirt will not have a collar, and will have a round neck instead of a V-neck. Whether the leaked photo's will prove to be correct, only time will tell.
