Q: Heel cage: does the ZX Flux feature one?

A Yes it does, and it is the most striking design feature of the shoe; as shown below:

The heel cage of the ZX Flux is described as a 'moulded heel cage' by Adidas; the purpose of which is to provide added stability and cushioning for runners. The Adidas ZX Flux is a modern version of the Adidas ZX 8000; a running shoe that was released in 1988 and pioneered the Torsion System. The ZX Flux also features the Torsion System - which provides arch support - and it also has a woven fabric upper. The woven fabric upper of the ZX Flux has made the shoe ideal for customisation; as the material can easily be printed upon. The ZX Flux is usually a part of Adidas Originals fashion collections; such as The Farm Company collection and the Stellasport collection.
