The Adidas Questar features the three following technologies: Boost (energy returning); Torsion System (arch support); and Adiwear (makes the outersole last longer). Most of Adidas' current running shoes feature these three technologies. The Questar also features an 'open mesh' upper that provides breathability to the foot; through small holes spread throughout the mesh fabric. The Questar also features a plastic overlay on top of the mesh fabric - the "questar" text is printed upon this overlay - that helps provide the foot with stability and maintains a solid structure to the shoe. Adidas refer to this plastic overlay structure as a: "midfoot and heel cage". The Questar is light weight: weighing 315g for a size 8.5 men's shoe. The Questar features the classic three stripe design, alongside cutting edge Adidas running technologies, all for an affordable price; most Adidas running shoes that offer this range of features cost over £100.
