Q: Adidas Duramo 7: running shoe with an EVA sockliner

A The Adidas Duramo 7 is an entry level running shoe - costs under £50 - that features the ADIPRENE® and ADIWEAR™ technologies.

The upper of the Duramo 7 is a "sandwich" mesh - also referred to as Air mesh - that's primary purpose is to enable the foot to breathe; provided by the ventilation holes in the mesh material. Adidas describe the Duramo 7 as having "maximum breathability". The Duramo 7's upper is only made from synthetic materials; which make the shoe lightweight and enable the breathability - essential for any modern running shoe. The inner lining of the Duramo 7 is a combination of fabric and synthetic materials; the inner lining is an EVA sockliner that provides instant comfort and does not require the shoe to be "bedded in". The ADIPRENE® midsole provides the cushioning; which is largely located from the midfoot to heel section. The ADIWEAR™ outersole - bottom of the shoe - is made from a hard-wearing rubber composite that provides excellent durability; the outersole also has grooved flexes to improve grip and movement.
